  Business Development Manager

Terms: Candidates must have experience of working in Tourism Operations.

Job Description
  • Development and execution of Sales Strategy to expand the customer base, thus ensuring achievement of revenue targets.
  • To identify potential customers and develop new business and to prepare advance schedules of corporate visits.
  • Proposing pricing and other discounted procedures, based on sales targets while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Developing alternative revenue streams to maximize sales by initiating new ideas for product development and identifies new business opportunities.
  • Cooperate with the team, set targets, motivate and delegate activities.
  • Generating daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals by identification, contact, qualification and development of viable new accounts.
  • Managing the prospecting plan development and execution for new accounts.
  • Developing, executing and delivering quality solution-focused client presentations.
  • Presenting and articulating advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions.

  Client Services Executive

Reporting to: Operations Manager
Role purpose: To provide world class customer service to IOL customers by supporting them with any queries they may have.
Terms: Candidates must have experience of working in Tourism Operations.

Key accountabilities or main areas of responsibility
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, emails and web queries from customers, including monitoring of ‘system in-tray’
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer queries are processed and resolved satisfactorily within deadlines.
  • Liaise with other sections/departments to achieve goals, including attendance at departmental and interdepartmental meetings.
  • Manage day-to-day customer interaction.
  • Develop lasting relationships with customer personnel that foster client ties.
  • Communicate effectively with customer to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships.
  • Builds a knowledge base of each customer's business and organization.
  • Other duties/projects as requested by management from time to time.

Role Related Expertise at selection – Qualifications, skills, knowledge and competencies
  • Knowledge of the client support environment, preferably in a travel industry and with an international client base
  • Self motivated with excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure with attention to detail and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with internal systems and software packages/websites, plus good MS Office skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Flexible approach to working practices in response to customer and business need

  Contract Executive

Candidates must have experience of working in Tourism Operations
Are you an experienced Contract Executive? Are you a data entry expert? You will be part of a successful team responsible for the contract information going on to a Tour Operators database.

Job Description
  • The Contract Executive will be part of a team responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the loading maintenance of supplier contract information onto the Tour Operators database
Key duties of the Contract Executive will be
  • Accurately loading and amending supplier contracts into the database in-line with given deadlines including contracts for Packages, Hotels, Transfers, Excursions, etc
  • Checking contracts. Identifying missing or incomplete contracts or information
  • Day-to-day tasks include Investigating and resolving queries from Business Analysis.

Experience Required
The successful candidate should have relevant data loading experience, high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong communication skills, excellent numeracy skills and able to work as a team

  Programmers

Key Skills required
Web development using .Net, ASP.Net, C#, MS SQL 2000 / 2005, XML, Webservices, ASP knowledge will be an advantage
