Reporting to: Operations Manager
Role purpose: To provide world class customer service to IOL customers by supporting them with any queries they may have.
Terms: Candidates must have experience of working in Tourism Operations.
Key accountabilities or main areas of responsibility
- Handle incoming telephone calls, emails and web queries from customers, including monitoring of ‘system in-tray’
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer queries are processed and resolved satisfactorily within deadlines.
- Liaise with other sections/departments to achieve goals, including attendance at departmental and interdepartmental meetings.
- Manage day-to-day customer interaction.
- Develop lasting relationships with customer personnel that foster client ties.
- Communicate effectively with customer to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.

- Knowledge of the client support environment, preferably in a travel industry and with an international client base

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure with attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with internal systems and software packages/websites, plus good MS Office skills.

- The Contract Executive will be part of a team responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the loading maintenance of supplier contract information onto the Tour Operators database
Key duties of the Contract Executive will be
- Accurately loading and amending supplier contracts into the database in-line with given deadlines including contracts for Packages, Hotels, Transfers, Excursions, etc
- Checking contracts. Identifying missing or incomplete contracts or information
- Day-to-day tasks include Investigating and resolving queries from Business Analysis.
Experience Required
The successful candidate should have relevant data loading experience, high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong communication skills, excellent numeracy skills and able to work as a team
